The Red Kuri winter squash also known as Orange Hokkaido or Uchiki Kuri, originates from Kanazawa, Japan.  Having been selectively bred by Japanese farmers for centuries, the red kuri squash provides desirable traits such as sweetness, flavor, and storage characteristics.

With the perfect texture and delicate sweet flavor, this winter squash is the perfect garden choice! The red kuri has beautiful bright red/orange flesh and skin with teardrop shape and is  excellent in purees, pies and curries!  This high yielding squash will only delight!
