Organic Daikon Radish Seeds - Raphanus sativus
Organic Non-GMO Open-Pollinated Daikon Radish Seeds
A fast-growing, cool-season vegetable, daikon radish is known for its crisp texture and mild, slightly peppery flavor. This versatile Asian root vegetable is ideal for fresh eating, pickling, stir-fries, and cover cropping. Daikon helps break up compacted soil and adds nutrients back to the earth. The name daikon means “big root” in Japanese, and true to its name, some varieties can grow over 20 inches long and weigh several pounds! We love daikon as a cornerstone vegetable in our kimchi!
